A Funny Thing Happened One Day At The Zoo

pMy mom is a funny lady.br /br /My mother has never known a stranger.nbsp; My mom is tons of fun.nbsp; My moms carefree mental attitude has made her a darling amongst my friends.nbsp; In fact, my friends like my mom so much that oftentimes they come over to my house to hang out with her just as much as they come over to hang out with me!nbsp; My mom has even been known to hold parties for my friends!br /br /My mom threw a wonderful birthday party for my friend Monkey.br /br /There is one party that comes to mind before any others.nbsp; The party was a surprise for my friend Michael who when we were young I nicknamed Monkey due to his amazing tree-climbing power.nbsp; My mom and Monkey are really close because hes been my friend since we were babies.nbsp; Monkey was turning 10 years old, so my mom organised a trip to the local zoo for an afternoon of fun for us kids.nbsp; Unbeknownst to myself or anyone else, my mom arranged for the zoo officials to set up a party for Monkey right by the monkey exhibit!nbsp; The decorations were fantastic.nbsp; The zoo officials decorated the monkey exhibit with noise makers, balloons, hats and streamers!nbsp; br /br /I saw so many custom banners at the zoo!/p
pWhen we first got to the zoo, before we ever made it to the primates, we noticed several oddly placed a title=vinyl banners href=http://www.bestbuysigns.com target=_blankvinyl banners/a over the walkways that all directed us towards the monkey exhibit. At first, we thought these banners were nothing more than directional banners, but as we started noticing them more and more our curiosity got the better of us and we followed the vinyl banners to the monkey exhibit.nbsp; When we entered the exhibit it was like entering the pages of The Jungle Book.nbsp; There were no other visitors in the exhibit besides ourselves, and throughout the room there were zookeepers holding monkeys and monkeys roaming around free!nbsp; Yellow streamers adorned the walls and made us feel as if we were living in the wild amongst a family of monkeys!nbsp; Big bushels of bananas were piled up throughout the room and there were empty barrels crawling with monkeys.nbsp; What a fantastic sight!br /br /Look at the big wall over there on your right!br /br /Once we were all in the room, my mom pointed our attention to an empty wall on the far side of the exhibit.nbsp; To our amazement, out of nowhere a giant vinyl banner unraveled and covered the empty wall.nbsp; The a title=Custom Banner href=http://www.signsRus.com/ target=_blankcustom banner/a read Happy 10th Birthday Monkey!nbsp; The custom banner was the biggest I had seen that day!nbsp; This giant banner made all of the others from earlier that day make sense, as each custom banner was designed and decorated in the same fashion. br /br /I will always remember Monkeys 10th birthday party as the best ever! br /br /Needless to say, Monkey was thrilled by the party my mom had thrown for him.nbsp; My mom made sure that he kept the custom vinyl banner with his name on it, even though it takes up a lot of space!nbsp; That banana shaped custom vinyl banner is a great reminder of the fun day we had at the zoo and is a perfect example of my moms creativity!/p
